Day 1: came a day early, but enterprise threw a hiccup in my trip to Philly. Slow start interrupted the sights I wanted to see, but got to do as much as I could. I was 12 minutes late and didn't get to see the Mint :( totally bummer. Got to see Ben Franklins grave, Independence Hall, the Constitution and the Liberty Bell though, all were awesome! Philly was a quick trip, but liked the city and definitely want to come back and explore some more. Saw the Boathouse Row on my way in, was slightly confused but when I was leaving the city and saw the row all lit up, it clicked and made sense. Checked out and cruised around the Reading Terminal Market which reminded me of Pike's Place in Seattle but different at the same time. I thought I found a great parking spot and was quietly surprised when I was forced to climb 6 stories and park on the roof which overlooked Market Street. Then. I had to take the Philly Cheese Steak Challenge and paid a visit to Geno's Steaks and Pat's King of Steaks. I know it was frowned upon to try both, but I had to. Prices were the same, both cost $9.50. Both were a great scene and something of an experience. I got the inside word from someone from Philly (shoutout Collin) and ordered 'One Whiz With' which is a Steak Cheese Steak with Wizz Cheese and Onions. I was not disappointed one bit. Every bite was wonderful and it was so worth it. I think I am on team Geno's. Overall both were solid, but I think Geno's had a little better of flavor - however, Pat's had more meat. #TeamGenos .
